Me Julie Duranceau
Julie Duranceau is a lawyer, member of the Quebec Bar since 2001. She is recognized and certified as a mediator by the Quebec Institute of Mediation and Arbitration (IMAQ), a branch of the ADR Institute of Canada, and as an investigator dealing with complaints of harassment in the work place by the Quebec Bar. She acts as a mediator in civil, commercial and labor related issues, has a strong expertise in sports related affairs and intervenes in cases related to the administrative tribunal Régie de l’énergie.
Since her debut as an alternative dispute resolution consultant, Me Duranceau has conducted or supervised hundreds of mediation meetings, appeal committees, investigations and conflict management processes.
Me Duranceau began her career as a civil and commercial litigator with the law firm Stikeman Elliott. She then joined the Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada as the in-house resolution facilitator and the coordinator for the resources and documentation centre. Her interest in interpersonal relations brought her to focus her career exclusively on alternative dispute resolution processes.
She offers mediation, investigation and conflict management services to organizations, businesses and individuals in all areas of law.
